About Doodad Mosaics & Glass
Each mosaic hand-laid, piece by piece and made with love, Doodad Mosaics by Autumn Wilkins was born from repurposing buttons, beads, glass, metals, jewelry, shells, pottery, and any other little doodad into flowers, seascapes, nature scenes, ocean animals and whimsical designs with a flair of artisan craftsmanship.
Each mosaic is made with crushed recycled glass, clear resin and can withstand the heat from the sun. The window designs are durable enough for the outdoors and the regular framed pieces are best suited for indoors. Original one-of-a-kind artwork to take home and enjoy for years to come.
My mosaics and sun catchers are inspired by my blissful surroundings of the North Carolina Coast and Mountains and my love for all things nature. I design my mosaics with the intent to tell our collective earth story - the seahorse's secret; the ocean's love letter; the Live Oak's wisdom; the cardinal's song. We all have a song to sing, and I hope that my pieces find a way into your own story.
